Since our founding in 1954, Greenway Electric Incorporated (GEI) has evolved into a full-service electrical contracting firm specializing in the design and installation of industrial process control systems. Our staff includes master electricians, PLC and HMI programmers, project managers and support staff, control panel assemblers, draftsmen, and licensed journeymen.

GEI is a Wonderware Archestra and Allen Bradley certified systems integrator, specializing in the grain handling and processing industries. Marc Greenway, President

Marc Greenway’s involvement with the firm and the electrical contracting industry spans more than thirty years. A Master Electrician, his diverse background in the field coupled with his extensive project management experience provides a unique blend of practical and technical knowledge.

 
Marc has spent his entire career at Greenway Electric, working his way from apprentice to company President, assuming the day to day running of the business in 1991. Marc is a “hands-on” owner, supervising numerous projects across the nation while continuing to oversee the daily operations of the firm.

Jared S. “Steve” John, General Manager, Operations

Steve John began his electrical contracting career with Greenway Electric in 1971, progressing from apprentice to Master Electrician. His extensive experience includes in-depth project management, estimating, supervisory, and technical skills. Responsible for overseeing all commercial contracting projects, Steve has managed projects nationally ranging from multi-million dollar industrial electrical and systems integration projects to numerous, simultaneous small to mid-sized design/build commercial projects.

 
In over 40 years at Greenway Electric, he has participated in the growth of a small, four man operation into its current entity – a strong, diverse organization with both national and international clients and projects.

Trent Tevis, Manager, Automation Services

Prior to joining Greenway Electric in 1996, Trent Tevis owned a systems integration firm in the greater Kansas City area, making him a natural choice to lead the firm’s automation services. A merger of the two strong firms brought Trent’s highly specialized team of automation designers and drafters into the Greenway fold. This merger led to the creation of the current dynamic Greenway Automation Division.

 
Trent’s understanding and experience in industrial process control, combined with his background in computer programming, consistently result in innovative, creative and intuitive solutions for industrial process control in a variety of market sectors.

Boyd Hiveley, Manager, Service Department 

Boyd Hiveley began his career at Greenway Electric in 1987, eventually assuming the responsibility of managing the 24/7 operation of the Service Department.

 
A Master Electrician, Boyd has accumulated a diverse skill set during his tenure with the company. His customer service abilities along with his extensive technical experience form the perfect blend of expertise necessary to lead the firm’s active Service Department.
